The tire 3/4 installs on the rim, its the last 1/4 thats hard. What i did is just anchor the tire and rim to something, (in my case I have a weight rack .. so yea.. but you could say tie it to something), then just pull on the tire til it fits. Wasnt too hard after I figured out the setup. And i did NOT soak it in hot water per instructions.I found it impossible to place on my rim. I took it to 4 highly-qualified specialty bike shops and none could do it, fearing they would bend the rim...I sure wish it could have worked but No Joy.
